Two people have been accused of blackmailing John Travolta and are on trial for it. This has enabled the world to hear a little more about the life and death of John Travolta's son, Jett. He admitted for the first time that the child was indeed autistic. He also admitted that the child had a very active seizure disorder. Here is what came from the trial:
The actor said Jett suffered seizures every five to 10 days. He said the seizures would last 45 seconds to a minute and Jett typically slept for 12 hours after each one.
Now I am no neurologist but was a tremendous amount of seizures causing an incredible disability to this child? Then, it hit me....was this kid on meds? I know Travolta is a Scientologist so maybe he wasn't. I remember Tom Cruise blasting Brook Shields for using meds for her post partum depression. Maybe they don't like meds. If that is true, is there any negligence by Travolta in his kid's situation?
