There is a cool diner outside of Phoenix that is doing a great job with its PR. The Heart Attack Grill has Surgeon General "warning signs", menus with items such as the "quadruple bypass burger" and staff that is dressed in medical gear. I don't even eat meat but I love it. The owner calls it an ongoing costume party with food and I love his moxie. Sure, it's not healthy for you but at least they are original and having fun with it. My only issue is the false advertisement. If you look at the article you will see the nurse/waitress. I guarantee that she is a model and doesn't really work there. And that's just wrong.

... all i can say is WOW. at least every one walking in knows what they are walking into (s possible future MI).
... on the other hand, it is a cute idea for a theme restaurant.
. . . i enjoy your posts. your blog, what a trip.

I've known about the Grill for a few years. The satire is wonderful. In their DTC-style online commercial for their "diet plan," the voice-over that lists risks and side-effects concludes with, "In some cases, mild death may occur."
Ya gotta love it!
...and Twain would have replied to the news of his MILD DEATH.... “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated..."
