Good news, everybody! UnitedHealth, the largest insurer by revenue, reported a 30% profit jump this quarter! Their profit was $944 million in the fourth quarter, compared with $726 million a year earlier. Now all they have to do is find more excuses to raised premiums again. You know, for example, a possible new health reform bill could add people with pre-existing conditions. Or, the CEO needs a bigger bonus. C'mom, try creating some reasons on your own. It's fun and no one can do anything about it.
