First they win the World Series. Now they are banning Happy Meals. What is going on with this world? I am no McDonald's advocate but I do think this is a little much. First there was a lawsuit against Happy Meals and now this. Under a new ordinance, scheduled to take effect in December 2011, restaurants may include a toy with a meal if the food and drink combined contain fewer than 600 calories, and if less than 35 percent of the calories come from fat. Can they over legislate any more? I agree that fast food is an issue but this Happy Meal Law is not going to fix the bad habits of so many. There must be a better way. Next thing you know they are going to get rid of candy cigarettes.
