Take a look at this NY Times article which explains how Jon Stewart and the Daily Show played a huge role in getting the 9/11 health bill passed. Stewart is a brilliant comedian. He leans left but many times he calls a spade a spade. With satire and shame, Stewart actually makes people think. His comedy sucks the audience in and before they even know it, they have learned something. Love him or hate him (I love him), you still need to acknowledge the good he did for those who are ill from helping out in this country's worst tragedy.
