Check this article out about the concern that there may be a lot cops on steroids. There is worry that this may be a big problem around the country. I am not sure how it affects law enforcement (other than no one wants a cop roid raging) but I know for sure there are a lot of cops on this stuff. I even know of some here in a small town in Maine. The piece even interviews Victor Conte (the BALCO guy) who reinforces the fact that there are a lot of cops doing these substances. He thinks the side effects are overblown but I am not so sure. Also, it probably isn't cool that cops are doing something illegal in the first place. Anyway, I recommend that the next time you see some bodybuilder dressed in cop's gear you don't piss him off.

I had a cop come to my office. He was doing tamoxifen and some other steroids. I advised him that these drugs were illegal for his use. He said they weren't because he bought them on the internet. (DUH?). I am not sure if he was really that stupid or just trying to convince himself that it was OK.
