I enjoy the show American Idol. With the addition of Jennifer Lopez (who America is falling in love with....again) and Steven Tyler, there has been a marked change in the feeling of the program. It is, well, just nicer. And I like it. There is even less mentally challenged people being paraded up on stage to be mocked. The criticism is less brutal because Simon is gone. It is just a kinder, gentler American Idol. That being said, I am sure Americans will hammer it because of the decrease in drama. This country just likes to watch mean people.
