Jack LaLanne is dead. This guy was the father of the fitness industry. I remember my grandfather watching black and white TV and following along with his exercises. He opened the country's first health club in 1936 in Oakland and was a household name for his TV show and nutritional products. Most importantly, this guy walked his talk. He worked out every day. He ate clean. He was doing physical feats into his old age that younger men couldn't even dream of doing. He died of pneumonia ("the old man's friend") but he was fit until the end. He even got heart valve replacement surgery in 2009 when he was 97! I guess his docs figured he would live forever. Goodbye, Jack. If the country would just follow your message there would be NO healthcare crisis.
