DOCTORS WANTED
Anyone with a license who wants to make tons of money prescribing medical marijuana. No ethics or morals needed. No specialty certification needed. Can charge upwards of $300 a visit for a bogus exam. See as many patients a day as your conscience allows.
This is what we have gotten ourselves into. Colorado, who like California pioneered this crap, is debating whether to allow doctors who have problems with their medical licenses to prescribe this bogus treatment (98% of the time). There probably is nothing we can do. This is the golden ticket for doctors to make some quick cash and retire. It is also the golden ticket for doctors who just want to get rich. Without naming names, here in Maine we have a doc who is charging $300 for cash visits to people who supposedly need Medicaid or are on a fixed income. Let's call him Dr. Scumbag. Dr. Scumbag makes these people come in. He asks if they are in pain. He does a cursory exam and believe it or not, the treatment plan is always the same.......weed. Boy, what a brilliant clinician he is! Then he gives them a medical marijuana card and makes them come back once every 6 months. Why? When you have a cash cow, you need to keep that gravy train going. I hope he sleeps well at night. Hippocrates is spinning in his grave.
