Ethics? For A Politician?

I had blogged before about Rick Perry getting an experimental stem cell injection into his back.  He was blasted by the media for it but he went with his doctor's recommendations.   Now there is information that Perry pushed through a bill in June that allows a company co-owned by his doctor to bank and store these stem cells.  Oh, and the other co-owner is also a long time political donor to Perry.  I am very intrigued by this autologous stem cell work.  There may be something there.  It needs to be studied more.  I am NOT intrigued by a candidate blatantly making his buddies rich.  We have enough of that.  And, by the way, I am a "compromised" physician if I take a pen from a drug rep?
