Really? Nothing like a good testimonial with a N of 1 to make you look stupid. There has not been one single adverse effect to the HPV vaccine other than a rare cause of anaphylaxis. Hmmm. I guess in an effort to rip Governor Rick Perry, who signed an executive order mandating that girls get the vaccine in Texas, Bachmann once again made herself look like an idiot. Hey, wait a minute? Do you think that Bachmann got the vaccine and it is her own mental retardation she is talking about?
And before I forget, mandating a new vaccine is always suspicious to me and should be to you as well. But not to worry. Perry's former chief of staff Mike Toomey,"was working at the time as an Austin-based lobbyist for Merck, which was in the midst of a multimillion-dollar campaign to persuade states to make the vaccine mandatory. So no conflict of interest there.
I usually don't make this blog about political races but when the politicians decide to use healthcare issues as there talking points then it is fair game for me to rip on these morons.
