This Is What We Want

Hate them or hate them, mismanaged care companies are not going away.   What we want, though, is for them to bring their damn prices down.  The only way for that to happen is for them to compete with each other.  That is probably a long way off but enabling Americans to shop across state lines may help.  Then we may see these evildoers compete for our business.  In fact, Cigna is already launching a campaign for those individuals who have no employer health plan.  The $25 million ad push will try to get those who now need to buy insurance via the Affordable Health Care Act.   Let's hope the idiots (Cigna, Wellpoint, etc) start fighting with each other so we all may win.  What will the slogans be until then?  How about:

  • We suck but we are all you've got
  • Pick Cigna so we can financially rape you
  • Take a third of your income and give to it us so we may deny all your health care demands in the future
  • Seven out of ten doctors really hate us.  Sorry, actually ten out of ten doctors hate us

Any other ideas?
